Valdivieso's top wine is called Caballo Loco, is a tribute to one of the owners, Jorge Coderch, whose nickname is Crazy Horse. He is a charismatic man of enormous energy and is involved in politics. He has financed a school for the underprivileged near the winery. This wine is vibrant dark red. The nose is complex, dominated fresh black cherries and red fruits, complemented with soft notes of cedar and snuff. Unctuous, dark fruit flavours highlighted with a soft mineral character and sweet spices. Fresh acidity with fine, silky tannins.
